Those
taking part are collected in a Safari Landrover from their
hotel and then proceed to take part in a day filled with
culture and history combining a Bush Walk, bunker tour ,
visit to dolmens, nature walk, RAMSAR site visit - its all a
mystery where the Tour will go.
If wished the
day can include an activity such as abseiling.
RAMSAR sites
are so
called because The Convention on Wetlands was signed in Ramsar, Iran, in 197, This is an international treaty
aimed at the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their
resources. Jersey has four such sites including St Ouens Bay
and Les Mielles.
